I'm 69 yrs young & this was the 1st time I wasn't nervous about a dental appointment. Course the Valium may have had something to do with that, Lol. Really you have the greatest folks working at your Joplin location. I had a deep cleaning by Crystal, I have to go back in 2weeks for the other side and I'm not nervous, Crystal is a true professional & the rest of your staff as well! Thank You all so much!

So far, my experience with Access Family Care Dental has been awful. I was a new pt, had tooth pain, made an appointment - had my teeth cleaned/xrays and the dentist found a small cavity on the tooth that was not causing me pain. I kept stressing that the pain was in a different tooth but she and another dentist who looked at the xray stated the same thing - that they "did not see anything of concern" but that we would just "watch it". Well to make a long story short - I left for vacation the next week and while on vacation had to have an emergency partial root canal on the tooth that was bothering me. The dentist out of state looked at the x ray and saw clearly that it needed a root canal. Needless to say, my vacation was ruined with all of the pain before and after this procedure. I came home and was told to follow up with my dentist to have the procedure completed. I made an appointment with AFC when I got back. The dentist told me that she needed to refer me to an endodontist to complete the root canal and that I should be hearing from them in a couple of days. This was on a Tuesday. The tooth had not been hurting at that time but by Friday, I had not heard from the specialist and the tooth began hurting again. I called the endodontist but they had closed for the day. I spent the whole weekend in excruciating pain again. Monday morning I took off of work and just went to the endodontist as I was in so much pain. Thanks God I had a copy of the referral with me because they stated they had never recieved the referral, the xrays or the medical records that I had brought with me from vacation and gave to the front desk at AFC. A needed root canal was missed on X ray which ruined my vacation and a referral was not completed - this in my book is unacceptable and appalling. Also, I figured I would have to take an afternoon or morning off to have the root canal completed, but I also ended up taking another whole day off d/t pain and to see the endodontist and clear up the referral mess. Not only was the front office staff negligent, but 2 dentists as well. Needless to say, I will not be back to AFC nor recommend to anyone that they go there.

I needed a cap instead of a crown put on my tooth and it was not painful at all and has not been since.

My dentist was amazing. She did everything in a timely manner and did it well. She listened to what I needed and was very understanding to all my dental needs. Im so glad I was able to get all my dental work done before I had the baby. Makes me feel more confident about myself and my ability to practice good dental health. A+++

They are all so friendly and warm. The staff seem to get along with each other so the atmosphere is always pleasant. Very professional in their work. Not rushed. Open to questions. Overall great experience for what is normally my most dreaded checkups.
