I was asked questions as if I had NEVER been TO YEC before. I was answering family history, asked when I was seen last, if my prescription was current. Why?! I have been going there for over 5 years. I don't understand why this information wasn't already in my file!?
I did have a great yearly check up. However, no one informed me that Dr. Vicki was gone....? It would have been nice to know that I will be seen by a different doctor before I arrived at the clinic.
With those things in mind, I did have a great visit with my doctor, new to me. He was great, offered a new contact lens to me and we even chatted about eye care.
Yankee Eye Clinic replied:
Yes, Dr. Grange is a wonderful eye doctor. How great for you that he was able to upgrade your contacts to give you more comfort.
Please understand that when we ask our patients questions it is so we can better serve them. Since you were a new patient for Dr. Grange he was not aware of your history like Dr. Luehmann was. Our doctors (and staff) want to make certain that we get all the information we can - as a benefit to you - in making sure your eye health needs are met.
