I usually like SoCal Smiles. I'm not he biggest fan of the new head Dentist. My child was in for a filling which I was told no shot would be involved since it was a small cavity. Then he gave her a shot without consulting me. He just did it! My daughter was in shock. It gave her anxiety for the rest of the time there, not to mention she said she would not trust them again. I think there are so many people afraid of dentists and I was trying to make sure this never happened with my kids. I told my daughter exactly what to expect and then that was ruined. She's now afraid to go back. Not to mention they did not have my consent to give her a shot, especially when I was told she wouldn't need one. I told the dentist after he did it (because he just did it with no warning) that he said she wouldn't need one. His response was, "oh, I did? Oh well, it's done." Not a happy mom here.
I am so sorry that Molly didn't have a great experience when she came in. We strive to make all of our patients feel welcome and taken care of. I hope that we see Molly and the rest of the family back in the office soon. Please tell Molly that we all apologize that she she had such a bad dental visit and we will do everything we can to make sure this does not happen again.
