I was having some tooth sensitivity and decided to visit the dentist before the weekend. I called on a Thursday morning and got an appointment on Friday. The dentist saw there was an issue with my gum line receding and suggested a simple procedure to address it. I asked if I had to come back in to have it done, and he said no, he could do it right then. It took about a half hour to fill in the small gap in my gum line, which included some numbing of the area. With insurance, it cost about $100, and I've been pain-fee since then. I was so impressed with the speed at which I was able to be seen and the problem addressed. I'm also ALWAYS impressed with the professional and incredibly friendly staff. But the best part was the fact that what I paid was reasonable. My former dental office charged way over what is customary for non-covered procedures, and even overcharged my $1,100 when my daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. (I was able to get reimbursed for that cost, but I never ever when back there again.) SoCal Smiles always makes me feel like a valued patient and never makes me feel like they're trying to make as much money as possible when caring for my or my family's teeth.
