I recently bought a used car and wanted to find a mechanic to get a once over of the vehicle and to start a general rapport and begin a working relationship. I went to Scott Sherman because they are AAA approved and give a AAA discount. The manager, Mike was very friendly and took my car in right away. The team did a full inspection and gave me an oil change at a much discounted rate because I was a new customer. They gave me a couple of estimates on what work I needed done and even tried to get me the best deal on a potentially "cosmetic" fix (we're talking hundreds of dollars less than the first estimate). I was out of there in just over an hour and really felt well taken care of. I would recommend.

What a GREAT bunch of guys!

I am so glad to have found them and my 1991 Toyota truck is, VERY HAPPY also! These guys go to the limit to fix the problem and will take you where you want to go, and pick you back up when they are done with your vehicle. Just wish you were also open on Saturdays.

I purchased the "Winterize" option for my vehicle and it was an excellent service. I was told that i needed new brake pads and rotors which was not a surprise, as i knew it was coming. The problem is that i was told the cost would be a approximately $1,050 which seemed really high. I explained to Pete that it seemed really high and he said that the parts were $800 + $200 for labor. I called a different shop and was quoted $650 for parts + labor. That is 38% lower than the price at Scott Sherman, which is pretty BIG! Not sure if they just had different pricing or they were just trying to make a quick buck off an unsuspecting patron. If i hadnt asked questions and got another quote, i would have over paid by $400 and that is just insulting in my opinion.

The folks at Scott Sherman have taken care of my Acura for 20 years now and I can't sing their praises enough. Along with the mechanics being top notch, everyone is customer-service oriented. They stand by their work and educate the customers as to what work is needed. My classic Integra will outlive me. Toni T.
