I recently bought a used car and wanted to find a mechanic to get a once over of the vehicle and to start a general rapport and begin a working relationship. I went to Scott Sherman because they are AAA approved and give a AAA discount. The manager, Mike was very friendly and took my car in right away. The team did a full inspection and gave me an oil change at a much discounted rate because I was a new customer. They gave me a couple of estimates on what work I needed done and even tried to get me the best deal on a potentially "cosmetic" fix (we're talking hundreds of dollars less than the first estimate). I was out of there in just over an hour and really felt well taken care of. I would recommend.

What a GREAT bunch of guys!
I am so glad to have found them and my 1991 Toyota truck is, VERY HAPPY also! These guys go to the limit to fix the problem and will take you where you want to go, and pick you back up when they are done with your vehicle. Just wish you were also open on Saturdays.

Lake Union Veterinary Clinic
I've visited a number of vets over the last 5 years. They ranged from chop-shop low cost (while working with local rescues for simple procedures), and also a number of highly regarded and highly recommended vets. Lake Union Veterinary Clinic beats them all. I visited with a woman veterinarian(forgetting her name)who was not the owner. She was fantastic, as was the Vet Tech who asked useful questions based on the issues my dog was dealing with. Let's not undercut the importance of asking the right questions. This is a pretty difficult feat to accomplish when your dog suffers from general senility and aging. The vet offered some helpful suggestions, and had some actual solutions which other vets had not been able to offer. Thumbs up. WAY up.read more …
