First time in the office. After my daughter(13 yr. old) was called in, the assistance asked me to wait in the waiting area while she take x-rays on my daughter. She'll call me in when done with x-rays. Time passed and I asked front desk personnel if I could come in to see my daughter and I was told to wait. That the assistance will get me in when done with x-rays. I thought I saw my daughter in a chair already having her teeth clean but not 100% sure. About 10 mins. later my daughter comes out with the doctor. Doctor started talking to me with a smile in her face, in the waiting area (nobody else but us and front desk girls) and telling me her diagnosis. I interrupted her and ask: Are you Dr. so and so? She said: Oh yes! Kept talking to me about my daughter's teeth and the good job she's doing. Then the referrals and bye! My daughter liked her, but to me they were very unprofessional. First, ask me if I want to be in the room w/my daughter while she has her teeth clean, specially when she's afraid of dentists and needles (don't ask my daughter-I am the one paying the bill). Second, introduce yourself as the doctor in charge or the one who just saw her and third, don't talk to me about my daughter's diagnosis in the waiting area. I'm 47 yrs. old and have never experienced anything like this before. Shocking!!!!!
