My appointment was lost, do I had to wait 45 minutes. Although they we nice and gave me a discount I still left with a sub-par haircut due to the rushed job.

Dirty Brushes and Towels. My appt was at 1 and I did not get out of there until after 6. My hair turned purple and so the learning leader was called over and we were told that the brush was dirty and had not been cleaned properly by the dispense area. So the color had to be corrected, after that was finished we went to the wash house and the towel that was used was dirty. By this time all I want to do is leave with my purple hair, but I endured and left after 6. And the price for my purple highlights 65.00. Never again!!!

My appointment was at 1 pm, so finally at 120 someone can and took me to a chair and started to process. The student started on my hair at 130 then by three we took the foils off and my color was purple, the learning leader was called over and said that the brush she was using was not clean and that is why my color turned purple. So they had to wash it then dry it and redoo the color, and by the way the towel was dirty too!It was ofter 530 when I left. exhausted and not the correct color. Buyer Beware.

I came to paul mitchell months ago to get color & a cut I wanted all over color wit some highlights I asked for a bob which the students call it a "triangular graduation" a new tern I learned frm the student I wanted it tapperd in the back and long in the front.. the stylist I had at first seemed as tho she knew what she was doing my color came out great but when it came to my cut she messed it all up I was very upset and wanted to beat the girl ass...even the learning leader culdnt fix the damage .. one thing I dislike about paul mitchell is the timing I understand their students but how are they going tp learn if they are not being teached & another thing it seems like no learning leaders are never on the floor .. one last thing isee that the school never advertise anything like im surprised the school hasent got shut down yet I wil never come back here ever !!

I love my hair. I am really glad I was patient enough to go to Paul Mitchell The School. Marcia was great. Not only was she talented but she really cared about how my hair would turn out and if she had any questions she would ask the floor leader, Omar who was amazing as well. I went to get highlights and every one I know loved my hair and asked me where I got it done. I am definitely going here again!

Paul Mitchell Raleigh replied:

Thank you so much!! Your hair looked fabulous! Marcia did an awesome job! We can't wait to see you again!

This was my third time going to the Paul Mitchell School of Raleigh. I love the school itself, and would give my first two visits 5 stars! I have tried to refer some friends, but the were always afraid to go to a school. I explained that an instructor is always close by, monitoring the students and check their work before you leave. The first two times, I went to the same girl and she was great! I attempted to go to her again, but she was in the evening class. When I called to make an appointment, I was told the latest I could get a cut and color, was 2:30 pm. I was put with another student, in the day class. I was not happy with the service I was given. I wanted a cut and color, and even brought in pictures showing what I would like to have done. At no point did the student or the instructor indicate that what I was asking for was unreasonable. I was happy with the color, but the entire reason for why I wanted my hair colored to begin with, was for my roots to be consistent with the rest of my hair! She foiled as if I was to comb my hair forward, after I explained that I wanted my hair combed back away from my face, and parted to give my hair more volume. She did the opposite. I did not notice this until she attempted to cut my hair, since she insisted on turning my chair away from the mirror. By this time, her classmates were already leaving, and I felt like she was rushing to complete my cut. She blow dried, but did not flat iron, as was done on my previous visits. I pushed my hair out of my face, and noticed that all you could see were my roots. From the front, you could not see the amazing color that was on the rest of my hair. I explained my dissatisfaction to her and she offered to cut me bangs. I explained that I had not worn bangs since I was 14 years old, and I did not intend to start now. I also explained that the cut she did was not what I showed her in the picture. I asked her to at least add some layers, to resemble the picture I had shown her. She only added layers on the front, when I also asked for some in the back, to give more movement. I intended to address my concerns with her instructor, but he never came over to check her work. She rushed me through the product explanation. I was interested in the super skinny, and may have bought some, she been more professional. Before I could make a purchase, she walked me out the door and opened it saying unprofessionally and sarcastically "BYE!" I was insulted. I felt like was being kicked out for expressing my dissatisfaction. I got so upset when I got home and looked in the mirror, I attempted to cut my own bangs, so I could comb them forward. My husband laughed at me saying that I looked like I was 14 again. Not the look I was going for.
