While in for cleaning myself, I am sympathetic to others in emergency conditions. I have been interrupted twice in 3 visits so far. This last situation however, included a significant amount of unnecessary chit-chat, constant reiteration of items already spoken about, and no significant work performed by the dentist on the emergency patient. Only some simple grinding and bite testing was done, the patient was referred to a specialist. This left me in the chair for no less than 30 minutes, closer to 45, while this was happening. I ended up getting more Novocane, perhaps it had worn off?
This was completely inconsiderate, and the emergency patient should have been handled in a more timely and responsible manner.
