I've had wonderful experiences in the past but the last time we visited soured my view. I arrived at 2:45 for a 3:00 appointment and there were only 2 other families in the waiting room. My daughter was taken out of school early and I missed a half day at work to do this. We waited until 3:30 and still hadn't been called back. I checked in again at the desk and she seemed surprised that we were still sitting there. We were finally called back at 3:40 to have xrays taken and then waited for a chair to be available. The hygienist spent about 10 minutes brushing and flossing my daughter's teeth and then we sat for about 20 minutes waiting for a dentist. After a brief chat, we finally left at 4:20. When I asked the dentist why the wait was so long, she said there weren't chairs available. Yet 2 different families with students we know arrived after us, were taken back, and finished well before us. We were then told that they are different categories and zones of patients and the left 2 chairs see different patients than the right 2. Yet that didn't seem right either, because we arrived 20 minutes before one child we know who was seated in the same "area" as my daughter. I was extremely disappointed in the practice and I expected them to admit to "forgetting" us or skipping over our names - but we didn't even get that level of courtesy. Please make changes, and if you overbook on a regular basis, think about how it impacts your families. I could have stayed at work all day and my daughter would have been able to stay for the full day if I knew we were going to be called back at 3:40.
