First off, I was a first time customer at PMTS Murfreesboro. I was unsure of how the experience would turn out since I usually go to the same salon as always for the past ten years with people who have been doing my hair for equally as long. I was pleased to be treated with great customer service, knowledgeable students and those overlooking the students, and ended up with a great experience of getting my hair colored and trimmed as I desired. What I really wanted to share was the other major event that occured while I was in the salon chair. I am a Type I insulin dependent diabetic. I had forgotten to eat that morning, and passed out in the chair suddenly with almost no time to warn my hairstylist. The hairstylist (Kelsey) and surrounding students rushed to notify the administration staff, and made sure to see if I was okay. Not only did the students and staff respond quickly to address the problem in a professional manner, but they also provided me a drink and crackers to help me, along with checking back on my continuously throughout my visit. The students and staff also took precautionary measures to be sure I was okay to stand and that I had someone that was able to drive for me. This really was reassuring for me in a time of weakness and potentially life threatening situation. Thank you for a great experience, excellent customer service and care, and for such professionalism.
