What others had to say

After being a patron for many years, I am disappointed at the decline in the level of service. The technician answered her cell phone while servicing me, they do not sanitize the chairs between clients, the technicians do not wash their hands between clients and although I had an appointment on 2 occasions, I was not serviced until 15 minutes past my appointment time on one occasion and had to completely reschedule on another occasion. They are quick to cancel one's appointment, however, when one is just 5 minutes late.
There are a number of nail salons within a 1 mile radius of Nail Eagle which should be motivation for this salon to maintain or exceed quality standards.

My husband, my daughter, and I have been Nail Eagle customers for the last 5 years. It has been great MANAGEMENT DISAPPOINTMENT lately. The last time I had an appointment (March 2013) I went on time. Henry (owner) told me Nicole would be ready for me in a few minutes. I waited for 20 minutes. Finally I asked and he moved me to the manicure table. I waited another 10 minutes or so and I finally asked if I would ever get my scheduled manicure. Without even apologizing or asking if i could have another person he simply said she also has to do some waxing. That was really it. It has been going on for the last 8-10 months. I don't know if they have favorite customers that they treat differently. So I am in search of a another place in East Cobb.

I have been going to this salon for many years. I switched because of an infection I developed from another salon. I was impressed then by the cleanliness and professionalism at Nail Eagle and I still am. The owners (Henry and Nancy) are pleasant and friendly to everyone, the staff is excellent. I have never had a bad experience there. Seems they go out of their way to make clients comfortable - coffee, water, not wanting you to wait, etc. I recommend them to all my friends. (I am wondering about the negative reviews I have seen posted ... bet its someone who was let go from the salon! Can't be a customer!)

I used to love Nail Eagle and would go there every 10 days or so for a mani/pedi. Over the last 9 months their service has gone drastically towards the gutter. The last time I went - and it will be the last time - they did not even have a disposable pumice to use to remove calluses from my feet they told me they did not carry them anymore. The water was cold and the person working on me seemed not to understand a word I spoke hence force missing my queues on what I wanted done to my toes and feet.

Whoever wrote the August '12 review is so wrong! I have been going to Nail Eagle for 15+ years. It is the only nail salon I go to because they are fanatical in their cleanliness! Even before the state began cracking down on nail salons, this spa was going way beyond the necessary regulations. It is libelous to say there are undocumented workers employed here; rather, the workers have come to this country for a tiny slice of the American dream. And they're providing a wonderful service. This is the best nail salon in East Cobb!

Pedicures and manicures are very good and technicians are meticulous and very artistic. However, owners can be partial to certain clients (seem phoney and are selective in their greeting and treatment of customers) and lately have given appointments to walk-ins over clients that have appointments. This has happened several times in a short period of time and no explanation for the mix up has ever been provided nor any compensation--total lack of respect.

Not only dot hey have undocumented workers, they also have unqualified workers working for them. They do nt sterilize theiir bowls father every use. They only clean after 3 uses. Porridge standard and Nancy the owner as no respect or er employees. She talks own to them and order them around. He prefers white people t her salon. She gets fat people and talk about customers behind their back.

Had both manicure and pedicure in the back in a delightful massage chair. VERY comfortable, wonderful service and skilled operator. Soothing spa atmosphere - - lovely spa music - no loud TV - no loud talking. I would have given 5 stars except one of the manicurists in the front started an animated discussion with her customer and ALSO a customer 2 or seats away! All of a sudden this perfect atmosphere was ruined by talk, talk, talk. They need to know to keep it very hushed up front to maintain the otherwise great atmosphere of this place.

I've been going to Nancy since she opened the open many years ago.
She tries to provide a clean, safe and professional operation.
What more can you ask for when it comes to personal hygiene.
I would strongly recommend her services.

Nicole is always flexible and does an excellent job! All staff are very friendly. The background music is soothing and relaxing, and the cleanliness is always appreciated.
Nail Eagle replied:
We understand how important the atmosphere is in a spa and appreciate knowing that all of the work we put in to setting the mood and keeping everything in tip-top shape is acknowledged.
