I brought my car in using a $25 coupon to rotate and balance tires and brake a inspection. I also had the brakes checked for a steering wheel vibration when braking at high speeds. The technician at Lindsay said I needed front rotors, brake pads, new tires, front end alignment and some miscellaneous other work which was estimated at $1126. I took the car to the dealer and they charged me $200 to turn rotors and new pads. They claimed that the other work suggested by Lindsay Tire was unnecessary. I know where I will not go for auto work in the future.
Lindsay Tire Clemmons Inc replied:
Here at Lindsay Tire we only make recommendations. The tires were down to less than 2/32 and not wore evenly, hence the tires and alignment recommendation. We recommended rotors and pads to invest the $200 into something that would fix and not patch
