Entering the spa was a terrible experience - chaotic, loud, a bunch of loud-speaking adolescent-aged clients and children in the front. I wasn't sure what was going on. The lady at the front was inattentive and a bit rude, I'm surprised she didn't tell me about the tea/coffee to enjoy while waiting. At other aveda spas, I am always offered tea while waiting. Good news arrived when Lindsay brought me to the locker room then to the relaxation lounge, it felt serene. Lindsay pampered me while waiting for my service. The service was wonderful, and after changing in the locker room with a relaxed, peaceful mindset, I was returned to the chaos of the front desk, hitting me like a ton of bricks. going from a quiet environment to one where the employees appear to be screaming, is not worth the service. I checked out and left in a disgruntled mood.
