Very friendly and informative staff. Somewhat difficult to get into, but overall very satisfied with the care received so far.

Looking Forward to seeing if my veins on my legs fade.

I was amazed at how professional the entire staff was. I was always seen immediately upon entering the clinic. I was never kept waiting. The procedures were all explained very well. This experience has exceeded my expectations.

I made an appointment as some (but not all) of my toenails were afflicted with fungus. The technician abrided my nails so deeply, especially my big toes, that the nails are now paper-thin, soft in the extreme and constantly tearing and splitting, with jagged edges and deep splits. The 2 nails that were the most affected by the fungus have continued to grow out thickened and distorted and have shown absolutely no improvement. Because of the ultra-soft, thin, papery nails on my big toes, I would NEVER go back and subject my nails to further abuse. Never.

Hogue Vein Institute & Hogue Cosmetic Surgery / HCS MedSpa replied:

At HCS MedSpa we have developed a comprehensive, effective laser toenail fungus treatment program. While we deeply regret receiving any negative review, the person posting this review only received a single laser toenail fungus treatment without any recommended follow up treatments. The purpose of the mechanical debridement and thinning of the toenails has an important purpose - to remove fungal spores and contamination within the toenail, as well as to allow the laser energy to more effectively penetrate the infected toenail. Yes, thinned nails can get brittle and even split, but usually only when fungal infection causes that to occur. It is our belief that the treatment provided to this individual was completely appropriate. Unfortunately, the reviewer is complaining about the symptoms attributed to her toenail fungus since the concerns expressed are normal and expectant for someone with a toenail fungus condition.

When I went there they were very professional and very quick on the procedure that I got done. They also answered all of my questions afterwards which is great.

Excellent customer service. Friendly people and doctor. I felt secure in the procedure, unlike one I experienced at a different clinic of another name and city.

Physician is good. Experience was good. Not real clear on how insurance is going to cover the procedure. I was expecting my insurance company to fully pay for the procedure but after talking to administrators at your workplace it is going to cost me out of pocket more than I thought. Your people said my insurance would cover it all. Hope I get an explanation after I get the bill. Will give a better review if my procedure is fully covered as I was previously told.
