To be honest I am seriously considering using someone else for my car care needs in the future. I've been a Family Tire customer for 5 years and they always did a good job. My main complaint, which I have voiced several times before, is the "up sale" tactics. I have my car serviced regularly and am well aware of its needs and issues. Yet I go in to get my oil changed expecting to pay $29 and always walk out having spent much more...closer to $100 or more. It's because they do their "complimentary" insepction and always find other things that urgently need to be done...like changing dirty cabin air filters. I really do not like feeling like I am being pressured to spend more than I had planned. And no I don't want to open a Bridgestone Credit Card to place the extra charges on. Because this is an on going problem when I get my car serviced, I am seriously looking to find another place to get my car work done.

I am so sorry that you feel that you are being "pressured" into purchasing additional services for your vehicle. it is certainly not our intention. When we change oil, etc. for our customers they typically want us to look it over as part of our complimentary courtesy check to make them aware of any needs. We are simply keeping you updated on what we see with your vehicle and our goal is to simply make the customer aware without any pressure. For future services we can always just take care of the oil change, etc. and not perform the courtesy check, it is optional. Again, I am sorry if we come across as applying pressure because our goal is to just keep you advised and then let you make the decisions. I will of course discuss your review with my staff to make certain we are asking and approaching in the proper manner when advising customers on what we find with their vehicle.
