I thought I was reviewing a different vision place when I posted my review, before, because I thought it was for Eyes on First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, which I loved. I am unable to remove my post so would just like to say Dr. Gershenow is wonderful but the frame staff is pushy, and I felt bullied into picking frames I did not like. Even though they were going off my insurance plan, I tried to tell them I did not want certain frames but they "made" me buy them anyway. I have worn these glasses maybe three times or less. The frames were too small after the lenses were put into them and trying to adjust the frames in several visits did not help. I was never offered a refund or assistance to get my money back. They only explained that I should not have waited so long to finally decide to get new frames. I was told at Eyes on First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, that insurance plans can make adjustments, and even Dr. Gershenow (Dr. Todd) told me I should have received a discount. However, on my visit this pas 2013, he did not offer me a discount or anything to compensate for my bad experience. His personality is not reflected at all in the self absorbed staff. The receptionist was great but the Staff was very condescending to her while I was in the shop.
