I have gone to Dr. Ditto's office for years. I am very pleased with him as a doctor. But something that was very frustrating was the time that I waited for my appt. I got there 10 minutes early. A women walked in before me and asked to see Dr. Ditto because she was friends with him. He came out and saw her and said if you have 30 minutes I can see you now and she was taken back. I waited over an hour before I was even called back to a room. Than when he came in, I could tell he was very rushed. I love him and will happily continue going to him but unless its an emergency, I have a hard time with friends being put ahead of patients with appointments.
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience and normally I never add comments to try and justify a poor experience however in this case, I must. The lady who came in to see Dr. Ditto had just lost her husband, an Air Force member due to a suicide bombing in Afghanistan, 4 days prior. Dr. Ditto's family was a second family to this lady who lives in Colorado and she had just gotten into town. I say this not to make you feel bad and we could have definitely handeled the situation better, but we did not know she was coming by and felt the need, under the circumstances, to get them together.
My sincere apologies for the inconvenience, in a very honest sense. Just bad circumstances all the way around. -Chad
