I came in for a filling which fell out. The assistant took xrays and brought them up on the monitor. It looked like the image was too far back and told her. She took another and didn't post it until the dentist joined us. The dentist proceeded to tell me my problem was in my gums. When he looked in my mouth, he tersly instructed his assistant to xray the tooth with a hole in it. She said I'd moved the imager with my toungue. Finally, the dentist advised a root canal. I set up the appointment and was given a cost sheet which I was told to sign. When I came back for the root canal, had the procedure completed, went t the desk to pay, was told (like I had some nerve) that they can't possibly honor my agreed to $700. I insisted after which the woman told me the crown part would now be $200 more. I also had a billing problem with you a few years ago when I was told that my visit from 6 months prior had been under billed and that to see a dentist that day, I'd have to pay this addition before hand. I did so but was always unhappy about it. Recently, I discovered that my daughter has had similar problems as did her friend at work. I am very unhappy with Dentaland of Melbourne.
