I received a text message and an email asking me to confirm my appointment for Friday, 5 April at 1230. Once I arrived at Dental Associates, I was told that my appointment was supposed to be on Wednesday, 3 April. This system needs to be reviewed and terminated. Another patient in the waiting room confirmed he also received automated reminders for the wrong dates. I have tried calling the main office numerous times to complain about this system, but I can never get someone to answer the phone.

My initial consultation was in June of 2012, I wasn't exactly satisfied but I went back this week and there are two new dentists in the office. The dentist was trying to work with me and around my schedule, the staff was very helpful and explained any and all charges in detail and were even kind enough to call and schedule my appointment with the oral surgeon.

Pleasant reception. The staff is informative, calm and pleasant. The doctor was informative and thorough with a professinal demeanor. I had the best experience with my deep cleaning. She calmed my anxiety and was very gentle. All around best experience.

There is confusion between the individual making the appointment and dentist performing the service. Better communication should be implemented. The services request is what should be performed, period. Provide all the options and allow the patients to choose /making the final decision.

All of a sudden, I'm a dental disaster waiting to happen like deep pockets that require special cleaning 4 times a years (not covered entirely covered by my plan) that previous dentists never told me about. Their approach is extremely conservative, but with zero flexibility in working within the dental plan I have. I believe scare tactics are routinely used by this practice to make as much money as possible. They also made a 'mistake' in determining my actual dental benefits which cost me more than $1700 out of pocket before I made my own inquiry to my insurance co (refund was processed promptly), but still, this shouldn't have happened!!!!

Extremely disappointed with Dental Assoc. Although I had a good experience with my initial check-up and cleaning, my second was a different story. After scheduling a cleaning more than a month in advance, I called to confirm appointment and was told there was no record of the appointment. The next available appointment was a month away. It is hard enough to get time off work, let alone have approved time off to only be told there is no appointment scheduled.

The wait was too long. I said I wanted a cleaning and check-up. They took a zillion x-rays. Then this young dentist came in and said they could not do a "regular" cleaning because I have "deep pockets" and would have to have a "special" cleaning that would cost me $100 out of pocket. I have had regular check-ups my entire life and NO ONE has ever pulled this on me before. I'm so sorry we switched to an HMO dental plan...the premiums may be lower, but they gouge it out of you in other ways.

So happy that I found Dr. Lisa Young and my hygentist Karen. I could not be happier! They have both made going to the dentist a happier experience. I used to totally dread going...they have been able to get me to do some well needed work that I have been reluctant to begin!! Thanks to you all Dr Young and staff.

Went to this office because they are on my insurance and not too far from home. Myself, my wife and my daughter visited on a couple of occasions. I have no real complaint with the qualifications of the doctor but was very put off that, every time we visited the office, she tried to sell me on procedures that were not covered by my insurance. Even after explaining to her that I was on a very tight budget and just wanted the treatment that was necessary for now, which my insurance fully covered, she continued t insist that "we should do this" or "we need to do that". NO! I want my teeth cleaned and my cavities filled. I will deal with the rest when I can afford it. I never did get the work done because I refused to be "upsold". I eventually found a new dentist. This is very unprofessional. It is OK to make recommendations, but I'm not buying a time-share, I'm there to get my teeth worked on. Stop trying to sell me something!

We were new patients at this office. From my initial call to the office to make an appointment to the actual appointment, we received nothing but white glove service. The staff was courteous and professional. I did not hear the office politics or the staff's private lives, as I did at another dental office I recently visited. The wait time was minimal. Office is clean and beautiful. The following day the office contacted me to ask if we were satisfied with their services. I recommend this practice.
