I had the State safety and emission inspection done in 45 minutes. There was one person to do the inspection at the garage. I was told it would be twenty minutes when I handed the keys. After ten minutes it was still twenty minutes and finally it was completed. I miss Alan's inspection on Lamar blvd (www.alansinspections.com) due to work location changed. I got my car back usually in ten minutes over there end to end. This place needs to learn time management for inspections saving valuable customer time. There isn't anything to recommend here for the State inspections other than they provide with a sofa and TV.

Dear Mr. Finavia, I remember you coming in yesterday afternoon for the inspection. Though I did not personally handle your work order, I heard the conversation between you and my service advisor and remember him stating that we would not start the inspection for 20 minutes due to the current customer requests. Unlike a station that handles only inspections, we perform a complete courtesy check that includes numerous things that are not checked on a state inspection. We provide this service to all of our customers. As a mechanical repair shop, we elect to perform state inspections to be a one-stop for our dedicated customers. As a result, we'll rarely perform this service in 20 minutes beacuse of the extra time it takes to do a thorough job. We apologize for not being able to meet your time expectations. As a note, the business you referenced only does state inspections and has no vested interest in helping you maintain your vehicle otherwise.
