I was unable to get into my regular stylist in the time frame I needed so they booked me with someone else. No big deal as I have had to do this before and have always been happy. The last time I was there was an exception to this. I have never had a highlight done as fast as the one I received. It felt like she was rushing to hurry up and get me out of there. The reason I "treat" myself to a highlight at City Looks is because of the extra attention they give you....the hand massage, the massage on your scalp when they shampoo your hair. I didn't receive any of that this time. I was so disappointed as I had looked forward to going there all week. And then the real slap in the face was when I went out to pay, my bill was $30 more then what it had been 4 months prior. I told them I had not received a haircut, only a highlight and they said, "Sorry, but that's what a highlight costs." I walked out mad, disappointed and felt like my business there was not appreciated. Not sure if I will be going back.

I love everything about the Salon. From the moment I enter to the moment I am exiting. The people are fun and helpful. The employees are courteous, respectful and an absolute joy to be around. Dorinda is FABULOUS!!!! She makes my nails look GORGEOUS!!! She is a hoot and a holla!!!! I have had a few friends go to her after seeing my nails. Even my very critical friend is going back for more nail time with Dorinda! Thx and keep up the great work!!!!

I've gone to city looks westdale about once or twice a year for a couple of years now and I've fallen in love with their bliss package.... At first I would schedule with whoever I could get in with at the time that worked for me and they all were AMAZING. But these last few times I've asked for chloe... She is awesome, she always makes me feel so comfortable and pampered, she is by far one of the best massage therapist I've ever had.

I have to say all around city looks westdale is my favorite spa in the Cedar Rapids area, the front desk is always so welcoming, the staff always looks so nice and is always on time, and the atmosphere is always so clean and inviting. I have to say thank you city looks for making my "splurges" once or twice a year well worth it.

I started to go to Rachel when I was not happy with what another salon did with my hair. She fixed my hair and she has been my stylist since. Whether it is a shampoo and style to help me out with a broken limb to make me feel better and help me look good, my sisters wedding, or my regular cuts...to even my color this girl knows her stuff and always puts in her best!! She even helps me pick out products and supplies even if I am not getting my hair done that day. If she is not there, there is always a knowledgeable staff there to help out. And if I am not happy, which I rarely ever am, I can always return my products. I can not say enough good things about this salon and Rachel!!

I used to go to City Looks for several different services and products. They let someone go based on rumor and false accusations without searching for truth. Very disappointed and no longer wish to do any kind of business with them. Have looked around to find other businesses I would rather give my money to.

I have lived here for 13 years and could not find a saloon or person to do my hair like I want it. Then 4 years ago my husband bought me a gift certificate and Shelby has been doing my hair ever since. The staff is courteous and great. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

I went in with a picture from a magazine for a short & "messy" look after having longer hair for about two years. I decided I was tired of looking like Eeyore! Shari worked her usual magic. She used the picture as a guide but cut it so that the style worked better for me. Shari has been my stylist since shortly after she started at City Looks. I'm so fortunate!
