Christine was wonderful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was done perfectly despite her teacher telling her she was moving too slow. I appreciate that my service was completed the way I hoped it would be even if it went over the time frame exoected. I've had other experiences that were shorter but came up short in what I hoped the results would be. When you have to go home and fix what wasn't done during your service isn't it better the student takes s little extra time to make sure the customer is completely satisfied ? I've already recommended Christine to family and friends. Great experience.

Student did an excellent job. She was very personable and friendly. I do miss the leg massage that the students used to do during pedicures. Sometimes I feel that the student is in a hurry but overall the experience was good.

Have had three services now: manicure, haircut, and pedicure and was very happy with all three. I love getting in and out easily and everyone is always very friendly.

It was such a positive and wonderful experience. Their Esthetics program is TOP notch and the instructors are patient and knowledgeable. Everyone at that school wants you to succeed! I would recommend the Mentor, Brown Aveda Institute to anyone thinking about entering an Esthetics program.

I love Brown Aveda and had a fantastic facial. However, there were repeated disruptions during the service. The person changing the sheets on the table in the room next to me had jingling bracelets on which was very loud and distracting while I was trying to relax. As soon as they were finished and I started to relax again, the student who went into that room to prepare for her customer was very loud too, laughing and talking with her client who was even louder. The client was getting her eyebrows done and they laughed and talked the whole time. It was obnoxious and I felt bad for the other clients trying to unwind and enjoy what should be a relaxing atmosphere. When the educator went to check the students' work she was talking in a normal speaking tone instead of whispering like everyone else does to be courteous. I couldn't believe it! This was the first time I have experienced disruptions by a student, client, or teacher and was very disappointed. I used Belly points to pay for my facial, but if I had paid $35 for the service when i was there to relax I would have been furious. My student kept apologizing afterword. Someone should have said something to the student.

My advice to a salon student:

Don't tell me that you're bored working on your mannequin because you already know everything. The ability to make this experience into a ritual comes with great practice and will set you above your peers. When you need to frequently get up to get things you forgot, it disrupts your rhythm and mine.

Don't overshare. When you carried on about that horrific place in our community, including all the idiots who work there, you didn't realize that it's my place of employment. You never know who sits in your chair.

Do continue to be kind and gracious. It made up for a great deal of what I attribute to youth and inexperience.

Do continue to do great work. When all was said and done, the finished product is something we can both be proud of.
