I scheduled a mustache wax for 9:30. It was great. I asked for a underarm wax since it was any service after that was 50% off. They could accommodate me but not until 1:30. I suggested other services to fill in the gap. They had nothing but could do a manicure and a pedicure after the arm waxing. Great! I left salon and came back at 1:30. The services I received were very reasonably priced and well supervised. The services were ok. My underarms are red and very sensitive two days later. My manicure and pedicure were ok. (I realize I am going to a school and the technicians are learning.) When I went to pay, the cashier charge me full price. When I brought to her attention, the afternoon service were half price because I had a service in the morning...she became flustered. She redid the bill and it was still not correct. She had some assistance from another person but that person thought I scheduled the two waxings together. (Not likely with four hours apart.) This was embarrassing because the area was full of other patrons. The bill was changed again and I paid 42.00. I don't know if this was correct or not. I got no breakdown of services and their cost. I got no information as to what services usually cost and I got no apology. Having been a cashier for many years, I realize mistakes happen but it is important to correct them and not making the patron feel like it was their fault. The other cashier offered me some water or tea as I left but the truth is, I couldn't wait to get out of there because I was so embarrassed. This is the third time I have received services and the first time that I was disappointed.
