I loooveeeeee my hair!!!!! Please go see Allyssa Sturgill! She is amazing and very detail oriented! If you have always been skeptical of beauty schools don't even worry. This was the best hair experience a girl could have the prices are beyond reasonable! I will never go anyplace else! Thanks again!!!

I have been a stylist for 20+ years. This past weekend I treated my daughter to a day at the Aveda school. We were greeted immediately with smiles. My daughter was going with two different colors of low lights and I received highlights and low lights.(which is a task for anyone). I could tell from the beginning that my student was nervous and this was probably her first highlight. I assured her there is always another bottle to correct something gone wrong. ha!! My student did an amazing job and even though we were there for 6 hours...it didn't feel that long. We had a great experience, but you must go in knowing this is a school and the students are learning...it takes time. Patience is the key!!!! Thanks so much for a great job!!! Bravo!

If I had been asked to review this school the first or second time I had gone it would have received full marks! Sadly though, the third time I went was very disappointed. I went in for highlight/lowlight. My hair is difficult, its coming out of a box dye, is super fine, deceivingly thick, curly, frizzy, and I like very fine highlights. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I went and got almost exactly what I had wanted (my hair after a few washes decided it was going to go a little yellowish in the highlight, but as I said before - its difficult. Nothing to complain about there.) The second time the girl I got was absolutely amazing. The perfect amount of low and highlight. The perfect thickness to them. The perfect color. However they had a hard time lifting that box so a few places got a little over processed.

Back ground story done - I sat down in the chair and the girl was surprised! when I said I had been there before. I asked her to do exactly what the last girl did. I had loved loved it. I had given the instruction that if it wasn't lifting properly please do not let me sit too long, so I didn't go grey - I'd just live with it. Well, they did not listen. I am now blonde. They did not put any lowlights in and argued that it was impossible to do so (How then were the other two stylists and teachers able?) It IS A beautiful color. A beautiful job on the thickness of the highlight. But they burnt my head... and fried parts of my baby fine hair healthy! hair. Its taken a month of deep hair treatments to get it back. If I would have known how fried it was within their complaint period I would have complained (I only wash my hair every 3/4 days and I thought the stiffness was from the hairspray) Also I asked for a trim of the layers and for them to be put back in - I have no layers ....

Will I go back - IDK - the first two experiences and price were sooo amazing and the third girl was soo cute (even though she fried my hair) I just might. I just learned my lesson ... always make them flat iron without hairspray, stickup for yourself even if you are afraid of confrontation. Live and learn.

Everyone was very nice. Although the quality of results is so up and down. I realize the students are just learning but the instructors maybe need to pay more attention. I went in for a touch up. My hair was a medium blonde, I came out brown. I go every 6 weeks so there would be little root touch up. The girl put so much color on, it looks like I had a full color change to brown!

Great cut & color!

I was in for color retouch on October 6th.

The student was George.

I had the worst experience since 2008.

George only cares about how much money he will make when he is finished with school.

George doesn't know how to dry hair, flat iron or curl hair.

I don't ever want George again

I found Dr. Randall to be an anomaly in medicine. Never, have I had a doctor or dentist spend so much time talking with me, answering my questions, and explaining her procedures and prognosis. This isn't just a matter of bedside manner -- it's a matter of professional care, and I wish all of my doctors were as thorough and personable. The whole office, obviously takes their lead from Dr. Randall, as they are all so kind and accommodating. I had a dental emergency and called them on Wednesday evening and they saw me on Thursday morning (as a new patient, no less!). Really, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Randall and her staff. She amazed me at what she could tell about my life, just by examining my teeth. I highly recommend her!!
