Everyone was polite and professional. The wait after I signed in on time was typical (about 15 mins). My main complaint is when I asked how much I was expected to pay before my appointment I was told $35 (i had budgetted for this expense) and after my appointment I was told I owed $110. I was told the extra $70 expense was for a "contact fitting". I paid the amount and went home to do research online. Apparently what constitutes a fitting and how much it's billed for varies greatly so I called up the eye care place and the receptionist was very polite, kind and patient and explained how their office handles the contact sizing/fitting fee. I personally feel $70 is too expensive for the "contact fitting" I received. At no point were contacts tried on and examined and my contact brand and perscription were not changed from the previous appointment a year ago. The doctor asked if my contacts were fine and I said "yes" other than the normal eye exam for my checkup I'm not sure what extra work was done to constitute the additional $70 I was charged. I wish I had known I would be expected to pay almost 3 times as much as I was originally quoted at the beginning of the appointment and that someone explained the fees to me up front.
