Tried to charge me $1400 to clear my Check Engine Light due to a "broken ECU" (car computer) which would cause me to fail an emissions test. Called and told them I would be back to pick up my car to go get a 2nd opinion. Well apparently 5 hours notice to put the ECU back in my car (probably a 20 minute job) was not long enough b/c when I returned, it was still not ready so I had to come back the next evening. When I picked up my car, I was surprised to see the check engine light had turned off and I also passed my emissions when I took it to get tested a few days later! So what if I had gone through with the "repair" without checking first? That would have been $1400 down the drain! Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure the CEL came on in the first place b/c of a blown fuse a few weeks back that I ended up replacing and all that needed to be done was reset the ECU and/or battery. But of course they wouldn't have told me that. These people use high pressure sales tactics to prey on people (women especially) who they think do not know any better. Unbelievable. Do not use these crooks! Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

the concern i had was that with it being a company vehicle that the mileage should of been correct on the paper work,it stated 33000 miles and the correct mileage 38493, i had to call and get it corrected,

tires were not rotated. the rf rim was scratched prior to this visit. this tire was still on the rf so tires were not rotated. I was shown a cabin filter that supposedly came from my car,looks like it came from a car that is only driven on dirt roads.I'm driving a faily new car(8000 miles).No way a filter from a new car could have gotten that dirty. Also was told that my front end needed aligning. price for this quoted as $75. I did not believe this information. Totally lost confidence in this business. Will never return

During my daughter's recent oil change (using a certificate), she was told that her transmission fluid was so low that it wouldn't register on the dip stick. They wanted to charge me 50.00 to degrease the area to look for the leak and 9.00 per quart for fluid. They drove the car and said it was slow to shift and that maybe my transmission was going out. The car was fine up until they saw it. Also they told me one of the brake lights was out. I said I would replace it. When I checked the lights were fine. An attempt to turn an oil change into an expensive visit.

I have been to the shop several times with generally good results, but always felt like I was being pushed to spend more unnecessarily. The recent repair to my vehicle requried a part to be put on a day after due to availability. I was charged over $100 for an hour of labour, and it took less than 10 minutes to do the work. They were unwilling to lower the labor charge. I will never go back.

I came to the Acworth location to get my oil changed on a Saturday afternoon..I was waiting with 2 others..the employee called me back to look at the fluid tests..and begin "upselling" me to the point i found it uncomfortable...upon getting into my car..I found large amounts of hand wiped grease prints all over the passenger side seat..and later that night saw the corner of what appeared to be a tool that was left under my hood! I expected to at minimum leave feeling satisfied w a simple oil change...disappointing...as I was in the Automotive Industry for 15years..I expected better from this company.

How can you bring a car out to a customer who came in oil change and not put oil in the car? My SUV sounded like a diesel truck so I went back in and then they lied to me telling me just a couple quarts low. Really? How about 5? This is after you told me how certified your mechanics are and why they would not miss anything when changing brakes. And my 23 point inspection was not completely done not to mention my tires would not rotated.

I was extremely disapointed to find out the part I paid for as part of my repair was three time the rate at the local auto parts stores, as were the proposed prices for additional services recommended by Americ's Best Service Stations representative
