I really like this place, and not just because it is a 'dental spa'. The people are really nice and everything is done quickly and professionally.
My concern (and the less of a star) is when you make your first appointment, it is not for a cleaning like you would expect. It is simply for an exam/xrays. I don't know about you, but it takes a miracle to get me to schedule an appointment ONCE, let alone to be expected to come back shortly after the first visit. I was told that I could have had it all done at once, but it just takes longer. Well duh, obviously it takes longer, but I would rather be there for a few hours and get it done and not worry about it. Fast forward one year later, I'm just now making that appointment for cleaning and needed to get some fillings. AGAIN, they wanted me to make two separate trips. I stressed to them this time how much I didn't want that, so I was accommodated. Just find it weird they don't do it that way to start.
Once I had the work done though, I was glad. The staff was friendly and Dr. Byrd was really professional and talked me thru the entire procedure and even asked for my input at times.
Definite recommendation.

We are required to do a thorough exam for patients when they first visit our office or if it has been over a year since we last saw a patient. We are more than willing to accommodate a patient?s busy schedule and value their time. This is one of the reasons why we suggest to have separated the appointments. Different Dentists don't Inspire Confidence

I have been a patient for three years. While I am generally happy with the dental services, especially with my periodontal cleanings, my last visit was less than 5 stars.
For the third time in two years, I was treated by a different dentist after my cleaning. The first dentist, a woman whose name slips my memory, was great -- five stars. The next, a man whose name also slips my memory, was pretty good -- four stars. The new dentist, Kia (sp?), made a couple of mistakes reading my history; he seemed rushed; consulted the xrays as the only means of gathering data (hello -- family history, etc.); and once he decided to refer me to a specialist his manner was "they will answer questions." So, all in all, not a great experience -- three stars.

We do have mulitple doctors so if a patient would like to be seen at any time during the week they are more then welcome to see any of our capable dentists. However, if you like a particular dentist you are free to request a particular one. We are very sorry you felt rushed and we will look into this matter. Thanks again.
New front teeth

Dr. Bird and Aimee are fabulous. I went in on Thursday to remove two old cracked yellowed crowns. Having the old crowns removed wasn't much fun, but I couldn't be happier with how Dr. Bird and Aimee took care of me. I go back in two weeks for the new crowns, but in the mean time I've got the temporary crowns (my two upper front teeth!) Aimee made for me and they look great and feel just fine. Green Apple, Dr. Bird, Aimee, and the rest of the staff are great and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I've always been really afraid of the dentist, but upon telling the receptionist about my anxiety prior to my extraction, he had my dentist call me to talk me through everything and offer me laughing gas.
Once I was in the office, Mariya was an AMAZINGLY attentive and compassionate assistant, and Dr. Kim worked hard to put me at ease. I was so pleased with the care I received there- and at a price I could afford without insurance!
Thanks for giving me such a positive experience with dentistry- despite my phobia!
