As usual, my experience with Pine Cone exceeds expectations. I am always treated professionally and get the best of care. It is so nice to come into the office and be greeted by my first name from the receptionist to the doctor. I wouldn't go any other place for my eye care.

I found the fact that my eye exam was actually given by a tech with one years education more than a little strange given the cost. My initial exam was anout an hour but only 10 - 15 minutes of that was with the doctor. And while she did check the results and then look for evidence of disease/damage, I did find it more than a little strange.
At the previous practice I saw before I moved here they had 2 large locations, all the technological doodads I saw at this practice, but the actual exam, upon which the prescription is based is performed by the doctor you see.
I'm sure your service is fine and well within professional standards for the area but for the price I would have preferred to have my exam by a doctor and not a technician with 1 years education.
I am not impressed and would probably not return. I don't think this kind of medical model of service where the doctor touches down at the end of a visit, whether at your office or any kind of doctors office, is one that allows for the doctors best work or is to the best advantage of the patient. I felt less like a patient and more like a number.
I am left at this point wondering if the prescription that I was issued is accurate and addresses my medical needs.

great staff and service
After my previous experience with other eye professionals, I was delighted to be at PineCone Vision Center! Their medical staff was wonderful and caring, very helpful too. The optical staff was also great to work with with helping me pick out my new glasses and suggesting ones that would work well with my prescription and my look as well.

They are very thorough with their exams. My last appointment went quite quickly, but there have been times when I spent a lot of time waiting, both before being called back and in the exam room.
