Dr. West has been our dentist for 20+ years. We always know that
we get excellent dental care, and the staff is wonderful.
WILL NOT LET ANYONE ELSE TOUCH MY TEETH.....
They cater to cowards.
No - seriously - they do. Unlike most companies' creative-department-supplied-mottos, Dr. West's practice is all about that - making you comfortable during one of the most un-comfortable bi-yearly visits to a health professional you make.
Face it - during your yearly visit of your Primary Care Physician, about the most uncomfortable thing you will be asked to do is "turn your head and cough" (assuming you're a big mean hairy male like me). Visiting your dentist almost always involves pain. I don't mean the "I just got tackled by the biggest fullback ever" pain, I mean the "make-you-curl-up-in-a-corner-and-cry-like-a-girl-my-tooth-hurts,mommy!" pain.
Enough to make most people prefer losing a tooth to going and having it looked at. (dangling preposition - I know!!)
I have not gone to the dentist for 12 years. TWELVE YEARS. Mostly because of a cold-water-using-hygienist incident I endured back in Florida in 2001. Despite my repeated "My teeth are very sensitive!" warnings, cold water was used. In copious amounts. To torturous effect. Needless to say I have never gone back to that dentist, ever. Or any dentist.
My wife convinced me to give Dr. West's practice a try. I love my wife, and apparently she loves my smile, so I prepared for the torture.
Short version - I have been going to Dr.West's practice every six months for the last 3 years.
No, I am not employed by them, nor are they a public company for me to own stock and profit from the obvious gigantic increase in clientele my review will bring. All I'm saying is, "Dudes - give them a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised - they LISTENED TO ME."
Great cleaning and wonderful staff as always!!!
Mom's denture fits much better. No complaints about pain any longer.
Everything was smooth. No, pain or sensitivity after the appt.
