I have been coming to Tuffy regularly for quite a while now and have been happy with Paul and the service. However, when I was there today Paul told me that I needed new tires. This came as a shock to me since I am there on a regular basis to have my oil changed etc. I have asked every time that I've been there about my tires and how they're wearing since I have had to replace my tires on my 07 Toyota Rav three times already with only 85,000 miles. Never until today was it mentioned that my tires were wearing let alone need to be replaced. Not sure I feel as confident as I have in the past with the service.

Overall very good. This was an emergency visit. We were cared for right away and the necessary work was completed within an hour. We were treated respectfully and professionally. When we were called after completion we were given a price total that included 200 dollars of unecessary additional products. The price total confused me. We declined the additional services however seperation of requested work and additional sales would be more professional. I am not minimizing the recommendations, however packaging additional sales with requested work seems like a sales tactic. I am happy with Tuffy, I wouldn't want that ruined by implimentation of tricky sales tactics. You currently have an honest image, please protect it.

We always want to be fair with our customers and if we cross the line in any way, we want to know about it so that we can provide immediate feedback.

It is our policy to separate services when providing an estimate. We strive to tell you the problem that brought you to us. If we notice anything else in our inspection, we also bring that to your attention so that you are kept fully informed regarding the status of your vehicle. If there are other items that are due according to factory specifications, it is our policy to inform you of that as well (letting you know that they are factory recommendations).

It sounds from your experience that this did not happen and we apologize. We have been training a new staff member on how to present these recommendations--keeping them separate so that you know what each and every item is for and why it is recommended. We appreciate your feedback because it helps us to fine tune our training efforts, letting us know that more work is needed.

The work I requested was done promptly and professionally. I appreciate the time, care and attitude of the technicians; they exhibit capability beyond the mechanics at my dealership and other local auto repair shops. I will return with all of my family cars for routine maintenance and other necessary repairs. Thanks for being in my neighborhood.
