Being new to Nashville and having just bought a 13 yr old Volvo which needed some minor repairs, I had no idea where to take my car. Saw their ad on the internet and took a chance.I always fear when a repair shop sees a single woman come in dollar signs start flashing.From my first phone call with Byron to when I drove my car out, everyone was professional, honest and polite. I brought my dog with me, so we were sitting in the shade since it was nice out. 2 different technicians asked if they could get me a chair or water for the dog. The lobby and waiting room were spotless.I had part of the work done then needed to bring the car back in the afternoon to have the rest done. When I went to pay for the first part, I was told "We'll settle up when you come back"! I felt like I was at a garage my family had come to for years - I was treated like family, with the utmost courtesy and respect. And the repairs were much less than I had anticipated. I can't say enough good things about ISS! And yes, I am a real customer!!
Brought my VW in for service & asked to check a couple problems. They called back the next day with some info & fixes. I decided to fix 3 of the 4 items on their list & the prices seemed fair (not "cheap" but certainly fair).
Ryan was good to work with & explained everything very well. The final bill was what I expected, so no surprises there.
The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that it took an extra day longer than they originally said to finish my car. Not a huge deal. Just the only thing that kept it from being a really great experience.
I would recommend them & will return in the future!
I don't expect perfection, just an honest and open willingness to fix things when they go awry. This time, we had some purely administrative issues - everything with the car itself was perfect, as usual - and I am really pleased with the way Rod, Byron and Ryan worked together and with me to smooth things out. Far from being damaged, the trust and goodwill they have built with me over the years has actually been enhanced by experiencing their response to a few glitches.
Completely happy with my experience!
