Hogan Muffler & Brake

Curt & Carrie Hogan opened Hogan Muffler & Brake on July 1st 1985. They found it both exciting and a bit terrifying being young business owners as well as new parents of a bouncing baby boy while only in their early 20's. Juggling the responsibilities of running the business and raising a family was something the Hogan's remember as a challenge, one they would gladly face again head on. After a couple months the Hogan's realized they were in need of additional help and went on to hire Curt's younger brother Kevin as an inexperienced apprentice installer whom would be taught the exhaust business. None of them realized at the time how vital Kevin would become to Hogan Muffler & Brake. Today that inexperienced apprentice installer has grown to be the Manager/Lead Service advisor of a thriving, locally owned independent business and is arguably the best in the industry at what he does. In the early 90s the Hogans noticed a trend. The exhaust business was slowing and so they decided diversification was in order. The shop area was doubled in size with the addition of 2 new bays and equipment for Brake services and Wheel Alignment services were added. Today the services offered at Hogan Muffler & Brake have expanded to nearly all areas of auto and light truck maintenance and service. Recently joining Curt, Carrie, and Kevin up front is Joshua Hogan (the middle child). Also on the current staff are Lee Griffith , Kenny Ray Jr., Ryan Hogan (referred to as the bouncing baby boy above), Ron Chase, Andrew Barber and Phill Hall who are the technicians trained in some/all service areas offered by Hogan Muffler and Brake.
