The girl in charge of billing was horrible! First off, the day of treatment my daughter was given a treatment that was not covered by my insurance. This was not explained to me until I received a bill TWO MONTHS later. The girl, Denisha, stated "It is your responsibility to know your own benefits." Excuse me, but that translates to extremely poor customer service AND Dental Fun Zone is within the network of my provider, so that means they should know exactly what I'm covered for or not covered for from the get go. In addition, she was very defensive, short, and rude. Her responses included sighs and short responses.
When I called my provider, the girl was able to follow what I was saying and was very helpful. She explained to me with ease what my share of the cost was and what I was being charged for. When I read to her what was on the bill from Dental Fun Zone, she stated that it made absolutely no sense. She added that Dental Fun Zone attempted to send them a duplicate bill which my provider had already covered the cost for, so my provider denied it. The bill I received stated the same treatment that my provider had already covered and had been billed for a second time. There are other cost that I do have to pay out of pocket for, but no where is this found on the bill that Dental Fun Zone sent me.
