I stopped by to see if I could get my car inspected. For a $16 fee, I was driven to work and then picked up. The guys that work at Scott's are extremely polite. I recommend people to Scott's whenever I can. Thank you!!!

Scott keeps track of my aging vehicle's needs for maintenance and repair. I trust the diagnoses and appreciate the attentive, kind, professional care from everyone at Scott's Ivy Exxon. This past appointment, for transmission service, oil change, and tire rotation, the plan included replacing a windshield washer nozzle, but the mechanic overlooked it on the list. When Scott discovered the oversight, he saw to it that the minor matter was addressed ASAP. I'm delighted with the dependable service, including shuttle service.
The service has always been great. However on my last visit, April 18, 2013, my vehicle was not ready until late in the day, very close to the 5:30pm shuttle cut off time. I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change, no tire rotation at 9:30am. When they called to let me know that the car was ready (around 4:45pm), I advised Scott that I would not be home to be picked up until 5:30 as I was picking up my daughter in White Hall. I was told that they could NOT get me until the following day if I wasn't ready now. I advised that I needed the car for a 6:30am departure for a trip to Richmond. Scott was firm and unyielding and would not come get me if it would put his shuttle on the road after the cut off time. I understand the need to have set time limits on the shuttle service, however clearly he could have made an effort to go the extra mile and please a customer. When I finally picked up my car, Scott had the nerve to tell me that I should have told him that I needed my car at the end of the day when I dropped it off that morning. I suggested that maybe they should ask the customer when they need their vehicle. It makes good business sense to include that question when they are doing the intake on the vehicle with the customer and not leave it to the customer who might have assumed that since the vehicle is being dropped off early that it would be ready early. I didn't think that they would leave me stranded.
