During my last to two visits to Alexandre de Paris my appointments started at least 20 minutes late. The stylist was overbooked both times and on my last visit after she applied the color she put me under a dryer/light and left to go do someone else?s hair. Then one of the ladies who shampoos rinsed my hair and told me I could go back to the stylist. When I got there her station was full and she was coloring someone else?s hair. I sat with a wet head for at least 15 minutes while she finished applying the color to the other client. When she finally got back to me I actually had a stain across my eye and down my cheek from the water that was running from my hair. Thankfully we were able to get that off with water and a cloth. However, dark stains were left on my face near my hair line. It has been three days since my hair was colored and I still have stains on my face!!! Between the cost of color and a haircut and tips I paid $210.00 for a very unprofessional experience. You would think that a place like Alexandre de Paris, who charges such a high prices, would be able to take the time required to color a person?s hair properly and in a timely manner. I spend nearly three hours in the salon and am now looking for a new stylist.
Although many customers were at the Salon when I was there for my appointment, I still was seen on time. Excellent service as always!
Nicole will give you a flattering cut every time! She consults with you to see what you want to do, but will also make suggestions, if you like. She is cheery and sunny, and it is always a pleasure to work with her.
I have been going here for several years and have been happy with the results. However, on the past 2 visits, Susan, who is a delight and a consummate professional, had a time conflict with other clients and was unable to do the blowout due to scheduling problems. I would like to have her do both the color and blowout rather than have someone else do this. I make my appointments early so that I can get the people I like--Alexandre and Susan--and I expect that the work will be done by them. You need to do a better job of time management, especially on busy days.
