Landsaw Eyecare always does an exceptional job. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgable and Dr. Landsaw goes out of his way to work with you on all of your eyecare needs. I consider everyone in the office my friends as well as my Eyecare providers.
I like Dr.Landsaw and the staff that's why I drive an hour for my eye appointments. My last visit had a few problems. I like the contacts I wore the last year but I was asked to try a few different ones which I didn't care for. My glasses were old but I couldn't afford another pair of silhouettes glasses. I had bought them from Landsaw around 2006-2007 but my information wasn't in the new computer system. I ordered new frames but was never informed about "progressive lenses". I've never had, asked, or desired to have progressive so I had a problem right away with the new glasses. I was able to get that changed but I was told I could not be credited for the progressive charge. ? I wasn't asked about progressive lenses so why were they ordered? My prior lenses were not progressive. I disliked the way progressive lenses work. I expect the progressive charges to be credited. I was told I would have a rebate on my contact lenses but when I ordered them I was told there are no rebates on the monthly contacts, only the dailys. I still have not received my years worth of contacts. I had to make more trips up the road this year for my eye appointments to be finalized. With the hours I work, it hasn't been easy to complete my yearly exam.
Dr. Landsaw did not inform me that I had cataracts, nor did he explain that the problems I was having was not from my Lasik, but from the cataracts. As a result, I wasted money and a day going up to Miami for an exam at The Laser Center. I also don't think the doctor really looked at my personal information, and didn't help me with the burning in my right eye.

Thank you for bringing all of this to my attention. As per our phone conversation, we have corrected your account with the progressive co-pays. I am sorry for the additional follow-ups this year. I am always working to improve our patients overall vision and comfort. As our lives become more depended on computers, smart phones, iPads, etc.. our eyes have to work harder and have greater demands on them. Technology is constantly evolving in contact lenses to improve our vision and comfort with our greater demands. Majority of the time we have great success with technological advances, but not always. I believe per our phone conversation, we have you happy with your vision and comfort with your contacts. Again, I am sorry for the additional visits this year. We truly appreciate you coming all the way to our office in Tavernier for all your vision needs. I will always work towards improving your quality of life and vision!
